This group was started  after my dive buddies and I couldn't find a club that was open to trying varied diving. Most clubs in the area focused on tropical diving trips, wreck diving or photography. While we like to try all types of diving as long as it's safe and not beyond everyone's ability, we tend to focus on lobster hunting. We also found some lobster divers who were rude to lobstermen, took from traps and kept "over-sized" lobsters. We got very tired of having to defend ourselves to the general public and decided to try to enlighten them. We actively participate in beach clean ups and always try to help lobstermen when needed. We take every opportunity to talk with non-divers about our sport and explain how and why we do it.
